The Challenges and joys of building a sustainable desgin

 

Schafer Hartman, an entrepreneur who built Minneapolis’ first LEED-certified home in 2007.   The property is north of the Carlson School of Business in the “Quarry” neighborhood of Minneapolis.  Schafer is a partner with Hartman & Son Builders.  He has been featured in North News for his work on in-fill projects within the city to help provide a supply of moderate-income housing.  His partnerships entail private and public connections, from private equity partners to the city of Minneapolis.   Schafer will discuss the following topics and more so bring your business ideas & good questions about GREEN BUILDING!
